The Monument and Blast Zone Visitor Centers including Johnston Ridge, The Forest Learning Center and Coldwater are closed for the season and will re-open mid-April and May 2011. The highway may remain open weather permitting - check the volcanocamera.com for visibility. If its not clear visibility plan your visit for another time or reschedule for spring.
The Monument has no services in the winter - the Ape Caves is open on the south side until the parking lot is snowed in.
